wedding in italy …

Since in Italy LGBT Wedding had not been approved by law, to recognize same-sex unions, it was not possible to perform a legal lesbian and gay marriage. Therefore a symbolic wedding function could be the ideal solution for LGBT lovers who wish to seal their eternal love  through a romantic ceremony. The symbolic wedding ceremony consists in exchanging vows in front of a celebrant to ratify the union; a formal declaration to renew those promises of love, honour, respect and support. An advantage of a Symbolic ceremony is that can be performed in the most spectacular settings of Italy without restriction with regard to the venue: Luxury Hotels, Historical palaces, Dreaming Villas, Roof Terraces, Gardens, Castles, Boats and even in a gondola to name a few…

From June 2016, same sex weddings, called in Italy “Unioni Civili” are permitted and the Ceremony takes place in the Town Hall Rooms or in properties approved by the Italian Government. Only in certain Italian locations approved by the local authorities the wedding ceremony can be performed outdoor or private or exclusive venues.
